Brenda Barnett's life-long love of stories began when she was a child, listening to her Mississippi relatives talking in hushed voices, telling stories that gave her goosebumps and sent her imagination whirling. Sitting on the front porch in the evening twilight or in the front parlor after supper. Stories of intrigue, sorrow, and ghostly apparitions, almost always, but then sometimes a funny story. After years of telling herself stories, Brenda decided to write them. |
