Cindy K. Sproles is an author, speaker, and conference teacher.Born and raised in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains, Cindy is very proud of her mountain heritage. She is the managing editor for SonRise Devotionals and Straight Street Books, both imprints of LPC Books. Cindy is the executive editor for InspireAFire.com and ChristianDevotions.us. She is the cofounder of Christian Devotions Ministries.
Cindy has contributed to CBN.com and writes monthly for The Voice Magazine, a women’s magazine in East Tennessee. Her devotions are published in newspapers across the eastern seaboard. She is a writing mentor with Writing Right and serves as a certified life coach. The author of two Appalachian Historical novels, Cindy is a best-selling and award- winning author. Having received multiple awards, Mercy’s Rain (Kregel Publications) was chosen the 2017 Book of the Year with IndiFab while Liar’s Winter (Kregel Publications) was named the 2018 Golden Scroll Book of the Year. Her devotional, New Sheets – Thirty Days to Refine You into the Woman You Can Be successfully raised funds for Hope House, a pregnancy crisis center. As a teacher and speaker for Christian writers conferences and women’s conferences, Cindy teaches writing skills and enjoys storytelling. She encourages writers to not only write to the Christian market readers, but to write past the Christian market and into a world who needs to know God.
