Claire Fullerton hails from Memphis, TN. and now lives in Malibu, CA. She is the author of Mourning Dove, a coming of age, Southern family saga set in 1970's Memphis. Mourning Dove is the winner of the 2018 Literary Classics Words on Wings Award, First in Category of the 2018 Somerset Awards for Literary Fiction by Chanticleer Reviews, the 2018 Bronze Medal winner in Southern Fiction by Readers' Favorite, the 2018 Independent Publishers' Book Award silver medal winner in regional fiction (southeast), and the 2019 Selah Award for women's contemporary fiction. Mourning Dove is a 2019 bonus pick by the Pulpwood Queens Bookclub. Claire is the author of Dancing to an Irish Reel, a 2-time award winning novel set in Connemara, Ireland, and A Portal in Time set in Carmel-by-the-Sea, CA. Claire contributed to the book, A Southern Season, with her novella, Through an Autumn Window. She is represented by Julie Gwinn of The Seymour Literary Agency.
