Dr. David C. Edmonds is a former Marine, Peace Corps Volunteer, Fulbright Professor of Economics, university dean, and federal government official with long experience in Latin America. He is also the author, editor or ghostwriter of nine published books, including the award-winning Yankee Autumn in Acadiana, about a Civil War campaign in Louisiana, and Lily of Peru, a love thriller about a university professor's search for his lost love in war-torn Peru.
Dr. Edmonds was raised in Louisiana and Mississippi and studied at the University of Southern Mississippi, L.S.U., Notre Dame, and Georgetown University, and graduated from the American University in Washington, DC with a PhD in international economics.
