Langley has published in every genre except screenplays, with 32 books (novels, children’s books, journals, and nonfiction), hundreds of articles (including reviews for Triangle Arts and Entertainment), essays, award-winning poetry, and short stories in literary magazines, such as The Green Mountains Review, Provo Canyon Review, and WomenArts Quarterly. In addition, she is editor/writer for Rewired Creatives, Inc., and has edited magazines and literary journals, such as The Third Rail, Vermont Woman, The Hyco Review, and others. She has also won fellowships at Virginia Center for the Creative Arts, the Vermont Studio Colony, Weymouth Arts and Humanities Center, and the National Endowment for the Humanities. Langley has taught writers all over the world, acted as dean at a small North Carolina college, and currently coaches and edits private clients. Currently, she is working on a new novel entitled The Art of Rivers, based in North Carolina and focused on interracial marriage, as well as the plight of the red wolf.
