Delores grew up in Washington State but by marrying a Canadian has US and Canadian citizenship. She writes and teaches college classes onsite and online in Minnesota near her two doctor sons and their families and spends the other six months each year in Northeastern Mississippi.
She started writing rhymed stories and poems in the third grade, and her love for writing took off from there. Two of her four prizewinning children’s books are rhymed adventures. She’s written two historic novels. Many of her true stories appear in Revell, Bethany House, and Guideposts compilation books. Delores is a major world traveler, and travel is her favorite means of learning. She’s completing a guide on journeying safely and economically through Israel, even in grandma years.
