Fran McNabb grew up along the beaches, bayous and islands along the Gulf Coast and uses this setting in some of her novels. She received both her BS and an ME from the University of Southern Mississippi, then taught English and journalism until taking an early retirement. She now lives on a quiet bayou harbor with her husband and spends her time writing, reading, and boating. She and her husband have two sons and two grandsons. Fran has written for three publishers with writing credits that include nine light romance novels in both historical and contemporary settings.
