John M. Cunningham, JR.
John “Jack” M. Cunningham, Jr. is a graduate of the University of Alabama. He holds a B.A. in history and taught school in the New Orleans area.
He’s been writing professionally for over thirty years. His work has appeared in numerous devotional and Sunday school publications as well as Christian and secular magazines. His fiction has appeared in literary magazines. He’s written three Civil War novels and a devotional book. He’s also a speaker at writers’ groups, a freelance editor, and a writing instructor. He is the author of the Civil War naval epic, Southern Sons-Dixie Daughters. Book 1 in this series is titled Vengeance & Betrayal and Book 2, River Ruckus, Bloody Bay. His novel, Squire, a Mascot’s Tale, is a dog story, also set during the Civil War. His devotional book, Reflections of a Southern Boy, recounts his experiences growing up in the Deep South and the spiritual lessons he learned from them. He is a member of American Christian Fiction Writers, American Christian Writers, Southern Christian Writers Conference (Tuscaloosa, Alabama), Southern Christian Writers Guild (New Orleans, Louisiana), and the Christian Indie Publishing Association. |
