Judith Nembhard was born in Jamaica and grew up amid the island's lush scenery, which influenced her writing. Her early fascination with language led her to complete three degrees in English, including a Ph.D. from the University of Maryland. She has spent her professional life in education.
Her articles have appeared in professional journals, secular and religious magazines, chapters in devotional books, and in newspapers. She writes contemporary Christian fiction. She has published two novels, MYRA'S CALLING and BREAKING AWAY, and short stories. MR. MICHAEL: JOURNEYING WITH MY SPECIAL SON is a memoir. Judith has shared her spiritual vision with audiences as a speaker and workshops presenter. She has received writing recognition from Writer's Digest Annual Competition, Deep River Books Contest, and Southern Writers Magazine Contest.
