Sandra Tooley is an award-winning author of 17 mystery novels. Library Journal calls her series, “An exciting mix of police procedure, spiritual intuition, creeping suspense, and page-turning narrative.” In her early years she was a fan of Nancy Drew, but quickly segued to Stephen King. Her eclectic nature led to her interest in “the unusual” and “the unknown.” Her Sam Casey series features a Native American detective with the unique ability to hear the dead speak. Her Chase Dagger Series (written as Lee Driver) includes a young Native American woman who is a shapeshifter. The Skull, a mystery for ages 11 to 111, won the Ida Chittum Award for Best Young Adult Mystery.
Years of juggling two series has led to her decision to combine the two. The Sam Casey/Chase Dagger series will begin with Killer Double, set to release in 2020. Her books have won a number of awards including, Independent Publishers, Readers Choice, ForeWord Magazine, and a finalist for a Derringer Award for best short story.
