I worked for the Montgomery Police Department for 20 years (1981 - 2001) in Montgomery, Alabama. I worked as a police cadet before attending the Montgomery Police Academy graduating in 1983. I worked on third shift patrol (10:30 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.)then second shift patrol (2:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.) before transferring to Crime Scene Investigation. During my career I have been shot at, been involved in shootings and worked a wide variety of crimes and crime scenes. I have seen the best in people and the worst. I have experienced some crazy funny adventures and cried at the loss of a friend and fellow police officer. I retired in 2001 and currently work for the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office as a Crime Scene Technician. |
