Contributing Editor for Southern Writers Magazine, Vicki is also a poet, and author of How to Write for Kids’ Magazines, Adrift, Rogue Hearts, Smelling Stinkweed, and Writing with Voice forthcoming. Vicki has several stories published in the Moments series edited by Yvonne Lehman: Divine Moments, Spoken Moments, Christmas Moments, More Christmas Moments, Precious Precocious Moments, and stories forthcoming in two other books out in 2016 and 2017 created for the series. A Southern gal reared in Chattanooga, Tennessee during the week and raised on her family’s Appalachian Alabama farm on weekends, Vicki attended the University of Tennessee. She’s written for Hopscotch and Boy’s Quest magazines for the last decade. She’s also published in South West Writer’s The Sage, Country Woman, In the City, Borderlines, Scotland’s Thistle Blower, and I Believe In Heaven, a compilation by Cecil Murphey and Twila Belk. Vicki will forever be writing about her quirky and beloved South.
